Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, who happens to be the former Minister of Aviation in the country, in a post he made on his official X handle, reacts over the continued detention of the former governor of the Central Bank, Godwin Emefiele, over his bail agreement.
While he was talking, he said, "I feel sorry for him and despite my utter disdain and contempt for his person, and all he represents and stands for, I would be the last to gloat. Yet the following questions must be answered."
He said, "Where are all those who egged him, and used him, and where are his super rich, and untouchable friends from the banking, corporate and political world today? Why have they run away and abandoned him ? Why are they hiding under their beds, and denying him ?"
Further talking, Fani-Kayode said, "Why have they refused to take phone calls from his wife, children and family ? Why don't they visit him in Kuje prison to offer a word of encouragement ? Why have they stopped inviting his loved ones and friends to their parties, and why have they refused pop into his home to check on his family members ?"
