A Presidential aide and a Chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Mr Bayo Onanuga, has dragged the President of the Nigerian Labour Congress, NLC, Comrade Joe Ajaero, describing him as a partisan politician who is indirectly supporting the Labour Party's Governorship Candidate in Imo State, Senator Athan Achonu.
While speaking, Bayo Onanuga alleged that Joe Ajaero is playing partisan politics with the Labour Party's Governorship Candidate in Imo State, Senator Athan Achonu. He went on and noted that he (Ajaero) is pretending to be fighting for all workers in Imo State, thereby blaming the TUC for buying his lies.
The APC Chieftain made this disclosure in a post he made on his official X handle on Thursday morning, while reacting to a post and a picture that were shared by one David Offor on X.
He wrote: "Joe Ajaero, with Labour governorship candidate playing partisan politics in Imo. And he claims he is fighting for all workers in the state. TUC surprisingly bought the lie."

It should be recalled that members of NLC and TUC in Imo State recently embarked on strike. The strike as a result of the harassment the NLC President, Comrade Joe Ajaero recently received in Owerri, the Imo State capital.
